This is Dry Eyes’ debut. It’s musical, as opposed to some of the more recent Dry Eyes releases, with post-industrial and dark ambience combined to create a release which oozes atmosphere, clatters with claustrophobic beats, and hypnotizes with distorted synths. SIC-0001 is the cassette release, SIC-0004 is the 3 inch Mini-CDr release.

Paper. You write stuff on it, print stuff on it, make boxes out of it, wipe your mouth with it. When you get a note and it says something you don’t like, you rip it up, or crumble it and throw it in the garbage. It also can sound really cool, as I think this 3 inch MiniCDr release attests to.

We wear it in the winter, we wear it in the summer (for some reason). All the best paintings depict people not wearing it, though. Fashion is for the persona, the idea of yourself that your have in your mind that is the person you present to the world. Many people come to believe that this is who they really are. The most successful of the forces of evil are always the best dressed people in the room. 3 inch MiniCDr.

Dry Eyes – Noise Improvisation 0015- Doors
Doors. They open and close, and are positioned at places of boundaries: between inside and outside, in the hallway and in the classroom. Some of them have locks, and are designed to protect the people inside from the people outside. When dogs are scared, sometimes they scratch at doors, begging to be let in the room with their masters. Some doors slide, others are cylinders divided into 4 compartments which revolve around, letting people through in a sort of haphazard manner. Elevators have doors, prisons have doors, and this 3 inch CDr MiniAlbum is made up of sounds related to doors. 3 inch MiniCDr.

Noise Improvisations 0001-0015 AVCHD DVD with DVD-ROM
This is an AVCHD DVD of Noise Improvisation releases 0001 through 0015. If you don’t know what an AVCHD DVD is, well, I’ll tell you. It’s DVD that has video and audio that can be played on most Blu-Ray Players (check to see if your Blu-Ray player has an AVCHD logo on it…if it does, you can play this) This does NOT play on DVD players, only Blu-Ray!). On this DVD, you pop in and the first track of Noise Improvisation 0001 plays all the way through 0015 if you don’t stop it. That’s 5 hours of Noise! If you want to hear different Noise Improvisations, you may press the top menu button to select which album you want to hear from a carousel menu. These are technically videos, but each video just shows its album cover and plays the music.
Also included is a DVD-ROM which you can pop into your computer’s DVD drive and enjoy FLAC and high-quality MP3 copies of the same Noise Improvisations, if that more suits your fancy.
The DVDs are presented as if they are “legal exhibits” such as would be shown in court as evidence for a criminal case…

Wirephobia – A CONVERSATION WITH
This is an album that features conversation. On what subject, I cannot discern. Is there something sinister being said? When the mind cannot understand something, it fills in gaps, usually projecting its own fears onto what can not be understood. Can you understand this? I cannot, yet when I listen, the beauty of the voices, even though distorted, hypnotizes in a strange fashion which carries me all the way through the album, leaving me feeling something indiscernible. This indiscernible feeling is what makes this album worth listening to. On one hand, you could say its just a bunch of distorted voices. On the other, the feeling that one gets from listening to them at length leaves one with a strange sense of enchantment. This is why you should buy this album. Explore the unknown, and let it seep into your skull. You’ll be glad you did.

Laisistaz CD containing Emergence and Under a Crushed Impulse EP, previously only released digitally on Bandcamp. There’s some really interesting minimalist music on here, which uses repetitive series of notes to achieve a hypnotic sound. Contains forest photography by me. Also, Laisistaz is just Dry Eyes under a different name but the project is so different it warrants the moniker change.

This is just a really bad space ambient CD for a joke project called Get Over Yourself which was created by stretching a small bit of a recording of a restaurant to 20 minutes long. It will not be released in any form.
